Hi latika,

             It is not possible to edit in online mode. Actually it makes no
sence to expect direct editing in online mode . If direct editing is
provided in online mode , any-one would be able to edit the contents .

i m working on opencms n i wanna knw whether its possible 2 edit d contents
wen in the online mode.
in offline mode its possible using direct edit but wht abt online mode. 
Is it possible, if yes then hw?
