Hello Christian,

create new user -> go to existing project -> lock file for edit -> call
editor.
This puts me into an endless loop with javaw.exe using up 99% CPU. The
editor is never displayed, I have to kill OpenCMS and JRun.

We could not recreate this error, neither on a OpenCms running on NT nor a
OpenCms running on Linux.
Is it maybe possible that you have a circular reference in your group
hirarchy? This could end in a endless loop during the check of access
rights.

login as Admin -> go to existing project -> aquire lock from previous user
-> call editor. Editor opens -> try to view Text mode, but only see a broken
bitmap in the upper left corner -> go back to HTML mode, only see
"undefined" in the display area.
leave and restart editor -> change text and push "save" button -> get 404
error page (changes are saved however).

It looks as if you don't have installed the Text-Editor Active-X control.
The HTML-Editor and Texteditor use different controls, the texteditor we use
can be found at:
http://www.aysoft.com/ledit.htm

There you can download the shareware version of the text editor. You have
to install the version that is found in the /leocx/ in the zip file.
