Hi,

the export-file format is the same in all versions. So you can export and
import between different versions, even that the db-structure had changed.

You can do imports and exports via the workplace in the administration-view:
Datenbankverwaltung -> Export/Import.

For this you have to setup a correct exportpath. That is done in the
cmssetup.txt with the command 

writeExportPath "pathIntoLocalFileSystem"

or via the shell at any time.
