[opencms-dev] few question/ remarks with install

Hi list,

first of all i am sorry but i don't understand German.....(i think
knowing English, French and Dutch is enough for the moment). i have a few
questions:

-is there a archive of the mailing list?

-is the interface fully functional under Linux?

-is there information about how the cms works, how to make new projects etc?

the admin tool looks nice :)

some notes i made during install:
the version i use is opencms_4.1.32_u.zip

config/install.txt line 99
java -mx64M -classpath opencms:jar:xerces.jar:mysql_uncomp.jar
   com.opencms.core.CmsShell config/opencms.properties < config/cmssetup.txt
opencms:jar should read opencms.jar

config/install.txt line 179
 insert into db values ('localhost', 'opencms', \
	'ocmsuser', 'Y','Y','Y','Y','Y','Y','Y','Y','Y','Y');
opencms should be the name of the database (opencms41)


i had a hard time finding out that the mysql version on the redhat
powertools 6.2 is version mysql-3.20.32a-3.i386.rpm, this version was not
new enough (i had problems with LOCK TABLES) the good version for me
was:MySQL-3.22.32-1.i386.rpm so i would be good to state the minimal
version for the system.

i am now trying to compile the source tree
one thing i needed was:
