[opencms-dev] access to cvs

hi,
while trying to get the current cvs tree the folowing error occured

cvs server: Updating workplace/administration
cvs server: failed to create lock directory in repository
`/usr/local/cvs/opencms/workplace/administration': Permission denied
cvs server: failed to obtain dir lock in repository
`/usr/local/cvs/opencms/workplace/administration'
cvs [server aborted]: read lock failed - giving up

is that normal behaviour?
