[opencms-dev] OpenCMS and PHP or scripting language

Hello, 

I am new to OpenCMS and have just gotten it running. I am curious about
whether OpenCMS can actually run pages with PHP script on them? Or do I need
to rewrite my PHP scripts in java?

When you run OpenCMS where does the parsing and html page serving take
place? Through Apache?
