[opencms-dev] Very slow database access

Hi everybody,

I wrote an own class for connecting to a MS SQL Server from Open CMS with
the JDBC-ODBC Bridge from Easysoft. It works, but it takes about 2 minutes
to make 8 database accesses for a webside. I tried out a connection to a
MySql-database with a common mysql-driver for Java from Open CMS and it took
less then one second. Can anybody tell me why there is such a big difference
between these performances.
