Hi Marcus,

There is not yet an RPM available so you will have to do it the longer way. 
But think of the rewarding experience once you get it going ;o)

Anyway, to help you out I have a detailed step-by-step guide here for 
installing opencms (up to and including 4.1.53 ... 4.1.56 is a little 
different) under RedHat Linux with JServ 1.1.2 and mySql. It should be 
pretty similar for you. Give it a go. If it doesn't work let me know!

By the way, the comment at the bottom of the guide regarding the database 
security setting "not working" is a note to myself about my own 
installation...all will work without doing this step anyway.
