Hi Simon,
this is a mysql-configuration issue:
Change the mysql-configuration with following entry:
--set-variable max_allowed_packet=1000000

Betreff: [opencms-dev] Maximum Upload Size
Hi OpenCms Team,
I have noticed it is not possible to upload a file that exceeds 1M. The
error "...max_allowed_packet from server configuration of 1048576 bytes"
indicates a programmed limit. Is this set to one 1M due to a mySql
limitation? Could this parameter perhaps also be set in the
opencms.properties file? A size of > 1M will be necessary when using OpenCms
on a LAN (ie: intranet).
Aren't these files stored on the file system anyway?
Regards,
Simon Wilks
