AW: [opencms-dev] install trouble

Hello David,

have you created a project or are you working in the Online-Project?

You must be in an offline project (which can be be created in the admin
view) to edit resources .

hi all

i'm new to opencms, just installed it, and now trying to create new stuff
as described in the documentation:

" To create a template you must
first create a new text file in the project's content/templates.
Go to the /content/templates directory in the Explorer view of the new
project and start
the wizard that creates the new files by clicking on the icon with the
magic wand."

however, this icon is greyed out. why?

all the directories + files below my opencms directory are owned by
wwwrun.nogroup, mode 755.

what's wrong?
