[opencms-dev] Out of memory error

I am trying to Export my web site (using Database - Export). But the
export process terminated abruptly, and OpenCms throws the
OutOfMemoryError:
 
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
        <<no stack trace available>>
 
 The zip file created is a corrupted zip file. The machine has almost
512MB (physical + swap), and is running Linux. There is no indication
that the memory is being used up.
 
Any ideas what may be going on....?
