Hello Frank,

the absolute addressing is a "feature" of the ActiveX control and in the
current version of OpenCms there is no alternative to change the behaviour
you describe.

The next release of OpenCms will include a mechanism that solves this
problem by defining URL rewriting rules.

Bye,
	Michael

Betreff: [opencms-dev] links in OpenCMS

Hello,

After selecting a picture from the picture gallery and inserting it into a
site I checked the link adress. There is always the link address like:
http://<maschinename.domainname/... . Can I change this absolute addressing
to relative like ../pics/
The advantage is that the links does not depend on the protocol and the
maschine name.
After changing the link manually, I can't see the picture in the WYSIWYG
Editor.

I already changed the tomcat port to 80 so that the link address doesn't
need the port number in it.

Many Thanks
Frank
