[opencms-dev] One Layout and different languages per page

Hi,

what would you say is the main reason, why opencms does not support
do edit one page in multiple languages. What i mean is do make a 
separation between layout and text.

Example:  I´ve a page with 2 columns. In the first column there is a picture.
The Text of these 2 columns i have in 4 different languages.
I have many hundred pages like this, all with different pictures and layouts.

Its a hard work do hold every page 4 times synchronous. It would be nice to
be support by the system. I see this missing features as an main feature, which
is need by many companies who would like to use opencms.

What is the reason?
