R: [opencms-dev] problem with the WYSIWYG component

I’ve followed your instructions (as the documentation says) but nothing
happens. I’ve WindowsXP SP1 installed, IExplorer version 6.0.2800.

The component isn’t loaded into the page. No question dialogs. Nothing.

Some other ideas?

Thanks,

Michele

Check Security/Trusted Sites and make sure your high level domain for
CMS is listed, and enable all ActiveX Controls and Plugins under
Security/Custom Settings. Also, I think you need IE 5+ (maybe 4+, docs
say which).

Subject: [opencms-dev] problem with the WYSIWYG component

Hi,

I have a problem with the “Dynamic HTML Edit Control” (the WYSIWYG
component) used in OpenCms.

On my computer the object doesn’t work and is displayed as an white area
with a small red icon (x) on the left top corner. I’ve set “low” the
security level.

It’s strange, but on the other pc of my office, the component works.

I think the system marked the component as unsecure. Or the system can’t
find it.

Someone can help me?

Regards,

Michele
