Please try a --standard-- installation... step by step.
it works ... normal I never heard of this problem.
I head some troubles at the beginning if used the advanced setup instead of
standard setup.

Try a newer version - is this possible?

Have fun ... I'm sure it works!

Nico

Subject: [opencms-dev] Still choking on java.lang.VerifyError...

Hello everybody!

Today I came back onto this frustrating problem I reported in

http://www.opencms.org/majordomo/opencms-dev/0210/msg00106.html

Just in case the wise guys weren't hanging around here two weeks
ago, I will repeat my question: Tomcat and mySQL are apparently
working, but trying to import the workplace will result in that
java.lang.VerifyError (for details see the URL above), leaving
OpenCMS unusable.

What strikes me as odd here is this: the fact that Tomcat and mySQL
are running means that the problem is internal to OpenCMS (right or
wrong?). But 4.6.1 is out for quite a while now, so I can't really
believe that I am the first person running into this...

So, is this a bug or just incomplete installation instructions?
Or am I just blind??? I really stuck here, any help will be highly
welcome.

Thanks in advance
Christian Fritze
