[opencms-dev] OpenCms used as DMS ??

Hi all,

is anybody out there, who has already project experiences with OpenCms as
pure Document Management System without using the "WebPage Generation
Feature", but high requirements on content storing and performance. Required
traffic capability would be more than 100 MB per hour and approximately 200
concurrent users (approx 2000 requests per hour), Access is provided via a
portal-like Servlet/JSP-GUI. Is this a reasonable field of application for
OpenCms at all?
I appreciate any comments on this.
