[opencms-dev] HTTPS pages

Hi,

To save heartache for others, there is a problem in Tomcat 4.1.12
specific to losing the fact that a page was requested using the https
scheme. (The request comes through as _http_ although it reports port
443.)

The Tomcat 4.1.18 release does not show these problems.

Best wishes,
              Ivan

Hi Alex,

We have been using the JK2 CoyoteConnector and today we tried switching
to the Ajp13Connector but still with no luck.

We had been thinking about trying the WarpConnector so thank you for the
recommendation. I'll let you know.

Best wishes,
             Ivan

Ivan,

that might in fact be an issue of your Apache / Tomact configuration. I
am suspecting the webapp connector. We at Alkacon use the "Warp" webapp
connector between Tomcat and Apache (1.3.x) and it works fine. What kind
of connector do you use between Apache / Tomcat?

Best Regards,
Alex.
