[opencms-dev] Module development

Dear OpenCMS Developers and Users,

i am planning to use OpenCMS at a customers site. Therefore i need a few
functionalities in OpenCMS.
I need newsletter functionality and a community for discussions.

does anybody develop modules doing that stuff ?

Is there something like a "Module template" where to start development?
