Hi,
this issue was already discussed - see:

   missing "Last-Modified" flag in HTTP header  :

In short, you can do this, but resulting "last modified date" will be
something
little bit different than what you probably want.

Maybe subclass CmsXmlTemplate and create a method that returns a nicely
formatted version of CmsResource.getDateLastModified()...

page was updated. Any hints how this can easily be accomplished?
