In advance: db access doesn't really depend on opencms.
However, i wrote a little guestbook using the db and some caching functions.

I have some difficulties in understanding how retrieve content from a database table.
Is there anybody who can tell me where I can find an example? (setting a query, execute that one and getting result from a database
using the OpenCMS API)?
