[opencms-dev] WYSIWYG Editor: is iXED possible ?

Hi,

I have read an article about iXED an edit ro that uses jTidy and Xerces
to edit Documents that will be stored in XML.

Has anybody from the developing team evaluated this editor. Makes it
sense to take a closer look ?

This editor seems to be absolutely free and looks like a java based
alternative for this active X control.
