I tried the CATALINA_OPTS environment variable;
I *assume* you mean setting it via the "Environment
Variable" in the System Properties Dialog box - I have
tried entering a value of :
-Dfile.encoding=ISO-8859-1
for this variable - is that correct? should it work?
I do not understand what you mean by the "Tomcat/?"
option??

Hi,
Try with CATALINA_OPTS environment variable and set your language encoding.
If you do not solve the problem try to use Tomcat/? in dos prompt to see how
to set initial parameters.
