Hi

I have now tried everything I can think of to resolve this problem
without success.

Can somebody advise me which browsers and versions they have managed to
get the editing facility working with?

As mentioned before I have tried to edit a page on physically separate
linux and windows platforms
using a variety of browsers. Which makes me think it is not a browser
platform unless opencms only works with MIE.

Can somebody advise or point me to information about the client
configuration required for opencms

Thanks in advance for any help

Phil

That's interesting, I am using Admin ... Just trying to evaluate the s/w
and wanted to get sraight in and create a page etc. I'll try setting up
a new user. I have tried a few different browsers and always get the
same problem.

Cheers

Phil

Somehow, I've solved this problem, but I'm not sure how.
I can't recall precisely what I did, but maybe this helps to track down
the problem behind all this.

What helped was to switch to IE for a time, but now, both
browsers (Mozilla, IE) work for me.

I used to work only with Admin, but then created a new user which I
assigned to the "Projectmanager" group. With this user and IE, I could
edit pages with no problems and the WYSIWYG editor.
If I remember correctly, after that, editing also started to work for
the Admin user.
