Do you mean by "exported files" statically exported files to your
/export folder? If so, all your not exported files are lost, e. g. your
templates. If you have exported your work by a DB export or module
export you should find your work in the folder WEB-INF/export. The you
can import this files to your new installation.

I suggest you install OpenCMS using a different database, then edit
opencms.properties so it uses your old DB. Maybe you can recover some
things. Or do you know what you screwed? Then change the files manually
with SQL-statements, e. g. using DBVisualizer. I did it once, but I also
new what to change.
