[opencms-dev] can OpenCMS handle PNG ?

Yup, After a look to CmsPictureBrowser (and especially the method 
isImage(boolean filename)), I can confirm than, for now, OpenCms can only 
handle JPEG and GIF images, since the file types are hardcoded.
Since I have no time now to get involved in the development of OpenCMS, I 
suggest to the developpment team (that Thomas seems to represent very well) 
to replace the code isImage by a code using the resources types definition. 
By this mean, it could be possible to any user to define new images types, 
provided the browser can handle those types in the gallery viewer.
