Hi, I would like to integrate mailing list to my web site. So far, I have
not been able to find any related OpenCMS module.
So, I'm planning now to use Apache James, since it provides POP/SMTP plus
NNTP protocols, and easy way to create mailing list with archive.
But I fear that for integrating it fully to OpenCMS, I will have to create
a specific module. And since I'm quite new to OpenCMS, the effort seems to
me quite important, for some reasons :
- I'll have to manage archives in databse, associated to the OpenCMS
database, I do not have any idea on how they will cooperate.
- This module will have to make a brodgiebetween the OpenCMS web app and
the James mail server, and I don't know how to do.
- Isn't it a little weird to provide a CMS product without any mailing
list management ? I'v already tried Lutece (french Open source product, far
less usable than OpenCMS) and it provides this kind of things (bad, in
fact, but it does). Is there any support planned for OpenCMS ?
