About module contributions on www.opencms.org:

If a module is contributed to on www.opencms.org we at Alkacon perform
only a minimal check if it is usable at all and contains at last a
minimal documentation.

What we can not do because of time contraints is collect modules that
"float" around e.g. on the list. This has to be done by the contributor
of the module, even though it might require that extra 15 minutes.

We are happy to publish pre-eliminary versions on www.opencms.org if the
docs and description of the module clearly state that this version is
"in development".

Thinking about it, what I could do is create a "Module Sandbox" on the
www.opencms.org website where "pre-eliminary" modules are hosted. Would
this be of any help?

Even though the format / wording on the site implies that the downloads
on www.opencms.org must be in OpenCms module form, we would also publish
other stuff here, e.g. PDFs or ZIPs not in module form.

It is important that a contributed module clearly states who has
developed it. This of course can be a company or a person or both. Main
reason here is questions about the module can be send to the right
person.

Btw. there are a couple of modules already contributed, mostly
translations of OpenCms to other languages.

Best Regards,
Alex.
