[opencms-dev] Does OpenCMS cannot connect to the MySQL except create accounts manually?

Hi,
  I have set up OpenCMS with a remote MySQL DB (OpenCMS runs on Mac OS X Server 10.2.8, MySQL runs on Windows NT). During setup OpenCMS can login the MySQL and create all DBs and workspaces. But after setup and I want to run it is said 500 Error: cannot connect to the Database. How to solve it? Does OpenCMS only use port 3306 during the connection with MySQL? Any accounts  I need to create in MySQL manually before starting it?
