[opencms-dev] prob starting ocms---novice ----help!!

Hi all,
i have foll installations:
ocms+MS sql and tomcat4 on win2000.

i have installed ocms and while starting its giving the following errors:

javax.servlet.ServletException: OpenCms initialization error!
Could not connect to the database. Is the database up and running?

root cause
com.opencms.core.CmsException: 33 Resourcebroker-init error. Detailed error: 
Database init failed.
root cause was com.opencms.core.CmsException: 33 Resourcebroker-init error. 
Detailed error: Critical error while loading resourcebroker.
root cause was com.opencms.core.CmsException: 4 Sql exception. Detailed 
error: [com.opencms.file.mySql.CmsDbAccess] General error: Unknown database 
'opencms'.
root cause was java.sql.SQLException: General error: Unknown database 
'opencms'

i have created the DB named "opencms" with all its tables....( by running 
the .sql scripts)
so the DB is there ...why in the name of god is it not connecting to it??
