this is possible in the configuration file of mysql (/etc/my.cnf for example) in section [mysqld] set the variable max_allowed_packet to something higher.

  hi all,

  i've a little problem when upload a file

  the error is : 

  com.opencms.core.CmsException: 0 Unknown exception. Detailed error: CmsException ID: 0. 
  root cause was java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Packet is larger than max_allowed_packet from server configuration of 1047552 bytes

  it's possbile to set a superior value ??
