Thanks, Mark!
And thanks to everyone on the list: I asked two questions and got two superb
answers that solved the problem at once!

Be well,

Michael :-))

You need to change the date format in
/system/modules/com.opencms.modules.homepage.news/classes/com/opencms/mo
dules/homepage/news/workplace.properties

I needed the format DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM
At the moment all formats are set to
DD/MM/YYYY HH.MM

This will depend on your system ... mine should work for both german and
english systems.

All the best,

mark

Hello Stephan,

is's so easy when you know how to do it ;-))
Thank you, it works.

I would do the fixing, if I knew where to do this. I am quite new to
opencms, JSP, Tomcat etc. and it's still quite confusing to me.

Now, a new problem with News 2.0 arised in Admin-Mode when I try to
enter a
new record.
It doesn't accept the date for some reason: "Please insert a correct
date!"
All I can do is selecting one from the calendaries...
If you (or someone else) know the solution for this one, too, I'd really
appreciate it!

Thank you,

Michael :-))
