Hello Jakob
Did you ever get a solution to this problem? I'm getting the same one
and would appreciate a solution!
Thanks,
John

[opencms-dev] 5.0 and Jsp-Templates, Wrong page type???
Hi,
installed 5.0 under Windows XP with mysql 4.0.12-nt with tomcat 4.1.24
and jdk 1.4.1_01.
(5.0rc2 before... So the installation procedures are ok).
Tried to make the new template tutorial for jsp-Templates and have the
following error:
When I create the templates with cut & paste from the documentation and
create afterwards a html-page based on "Empty Body" then there are no
problems to have a look at this empty page in IE 6.0. But when I try to
edit this page I get an Error-message immediately in the status-line of
the editor that there should be an error in line 250, character 845 of
an html file named something like:
../opencms/opencms/edit_page_main.html (see log file message further
down).
I can edit the page but when I try to save the file or to close without
saving the following error ist logged:
[08.05.2003 20:48:02] <opencms_info> [CmsLogin] Login user Admin
[08.05.2003 20:49:13] <opencms_critical> [CmsXmlTemplateFile] XML
document /chako/jakob.html is not of the expected type. This document is
"page", but it should be "XMLTEMPLATE" (OpenCms XML template file).
[08.05.2003 20:49:13] <opencms_info> [CmsElementXml
(CmsXmlTemplateEditor/edit_page_main)] Error in getContent for template
class com.opencms.workplace.CmsXmlTemplateEditor
Only chance to get out now is to close opencms completely...;-(
Is there perhaps an error in the documentation? What's going wrong?
