[opencms-dev] Resource properties

Hello Everyone, 

Just a quickie, is there any way of accessing the properties of a resource
(as normally described by cms.getProperty(String) where cms is an instance
of CmsJspActionElement) without creating a CmsJspActionElement?  I'm writing
a class that implements the I_CmsCronTab interface in which one accesses
CmsResources objects in a folder via 

cmsObject.getResourcesInFolder(pathCurrentPic)

This returns a vector of resources but afterwards I wish to get to the
properties associated with the resources. In a JSP this is easy as one can
create an instance of CmsJspActionElement,  and then associate each resource
with a Map object of properties from cms.properties(uri of resource) but
without pageContext, response and request objects available in the case of a
class, how does one go about this?
