Hello,

I'm new to OpenCMS and have been unable to find an answer in the mailing
list archive

When I first installed OpenCMS 5.0, I created a page using the "Empty
template" and successfully published it.

Next, I downloaded and imported several of the documentation modules and
began working my way through them to learn more about the application.

I created a new master template and related jsp and css files then tried
creating a new page using this template. I created the page but an
unable to save any edits I make.

I thought it must be the new master template that I'd created but I
tried edititing existing pages and got the same problem.

Has anyone experienced this?

This is what was written to the log file:
[11.11.2003 13:55:55] <opencms_critical> [CmsXmlTemplateFile] XML
document /alkacon-documentation/howto-template/index_content.html is not
of the expected type. This document is "page", but it should be
"XMLTEMPLATE" (OpenCms XML template file).

[11.11.2003 13:55:55] <opencms_info> [CmsElementXml
(CmsXmlTemplateEditor/edit_page_main)] Error in getContent for template
class com.opencms.workplace.CmsXmlTemplateEditor

Thanks in advance,

John
