Months ago, a couple of us discussed using RDF to describe the metadata 
stored in properties, but not one released any code. It's not hard to 
do, as the XML engine is built in already, and it would simply be a 
matter of taking the properties and building the appropriate DOM tree.

Regarding an ontology, there is really no ontological description method 
for OpenCms. You could certainly extend the OpenCms XML format to 
include RDF/OWL segments, but AFAIK no one else has done that.
