[opencms-dev] Meaning of group parent parameter in addGroup

What is the meaning of the parent parameter in addGroup? Is it made to
generate a hierachy of user groups (tree structure)?

Is it possible to have a usergroup lets say "MyGroup" and then add subgroups
to it "BillsGroup" and "SallysGroup"?

+ MyGroup
++ BillsGroup
++ SallysGroup

How would this look like in OpenCms Java code? Does anybody has code
examples to offer regarding user management? (Please take my appologies for the
slight crossposting nature of this email towards the last email).
