[opencms-dev] Encoding problem

I use j2sdk1.4.1_01. Shouldn't it work?

My tomcat-4.1.29 startup:
set JAVA_HOME=C:\j2sdk1.4.1_01
set CATALINA_OPTS=-Xmx600M 
set JAVA_OPTS=-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8

And my cms pro file attached.

Any more ideas pls ?

Hi Vangelis,

we had the same problem with german umlauts (äöü).

The problem was the too new JAVA version 1.4.2.

We switched to 1.4.1 and everything was ok.
