So, in the directory $CATALINA_HOME/endorsed are two files?
 xmlParserAPIs.jar and another one copied 
 from $CATALINA_HOME/webapps/opencms/WEB-INF/lib/xerces-1_4_4.jar
 
The naming doesn't matter AFAIK.
