You really should use the archive first
. This question has been
discussed time and time again
. and relates also to mySql.

Betreff: [opencms-dev] Error in uploading the file

Hi,
I try to upload a file to the 950 KB file to OpenCMS. But i'm
getting the following error:
com.opencms.core.cmsException: 0 Unknown exception. Detailed Error:
CmsException ID: 0
root cause was java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Packet is larger than
max_allowed_packet from server configuration of 1048576 bytes
                at
cms.opencms.template.cache.CmsElementXml.getContent(CmsElementXml.java:
194).
Even i tried increasing the limit of workplace.file.maxuploadsize
property in opencms.properties file to 2 mb. But still i'm getting that
error.
I'm running opencms 5.0 in Win XP.
Help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Hari.
