Ok, it might well be that you cannot use the link type for anything else
than to redirect to another text based recourse - I have never tried. Why do
you want to do this anyway? If it is for including your .doc as part of the
navigation you can do this directly by settings NavText and NavPos
properties for it.

Thanks for your prompt reply.I have uploaded .xls .doc .dot files as
binaries. Also as per your suggesstion I added new extension in binary and
link type. But same eroor is coming, I can view files in browser when I
supply physical URL. But Through link same error is happening. Please help.
