[opencms-dev] User Rights for the News Channels

Hi list,

is it possible to control the acces rights for the news channels? I want to 
differ between public (internet) and non-public channels (intranet).  
I found the question from Salvador Santander
(http://mail.opencms.org/pipermail/opencms-dev/2003q4/008378.html), but no
answers concerning this issue. Any hints on how to solve this problem? Thanks
