I think I have the same problem....

Is it possible that the problem is caused by installing version 5.0.1 ?

Kind regards,

Cederic

Subject: [opencms-dev] 404 error for all pages on online site

Hi Guys!

I know I touched on this the other day but it was in the middle of an
email describing another problem and I've since tried it again and get
the same problem.

I've installed OpenCMS 5.0.1 from the fat distribution (from clean db
and tomcat directory). I've followed the instructions pretty closely
(the only changes being using MS SQL Server and to modify the settings
from the Merant JDBC driver to the Microsoft one, and applying the
bugzilla 91 fix).

Everything seems to be working - I can log on, edit pages, upload stuff
etc etc.

However when I go to the online project and open any of the pages (eg
/index.html) or if I just go to http://host:8080/opencms/opencms without
logging on, it gives a 404 error rather than the Welcome page.

Is there a setting somewhere which stops the online site from being
available? I'm pretty sure this just worked out of the box when I
installed 5.0.0

Tomcat 4.1.24
MS SQL Server 2k
Windows 2k
OpenCMS 5.0.1 fat disti

Cheers

Geoff
