the answer was....download the documentation for add,creating, and
administrating modules. There are instructions for adding creating a module
from your java classes.
During the process of "creating" a module within "module management" of the
administration view. You specify your classes icons and the such.

And the answer was? It is often nice to find the answer to a problem at the
end of a thread. so often i get to the end of a great thread on a topic

Figured it out
Can someone give me a pointer on getting my backoffice and content
definition into the admin (with an icon). I have already created
mybackoffice and content definition, and am trying to integrate it into the
admin. Do I need to create a module? Or is there some way I can hook it
into the system pointing to it from a config file?
