Dear Matt,

thanks for your quick reply and the included answers.

For me it is a little bit tricky to find out how to use and implement Lucene right into opencms. In fact, the doc directory contains a short introduction but it is not very helpful for a beginner to build up a comfortable search from scratch.

Could you give me a tip where I can find additional documentation or other help?

Many thanks

ray

1) Docs are in the /docs dir in the module (they are from version 1.3)
2) 1.4 is better, and will be the basis for 1.5. As far as 1.5 goes, it
will be out as soon as I finish updating docs.
3) You will need the CVS version (soon to be 1.5) to do that.
4) I have no idea... what are you searching for? Did you build the
index? What do the logs say?

Matt
