There is a new HTML import module available at
http://www.opencms.org/opencms/en/download/modules/index.html
This HTML import module enables the import of HTML pages and additional
resources stored in a folder on the server. After installation of the
module, you will find a new icon in the OpenCms administration view to start
the HTML import. Enter the following information:
* absolute path to the folder where the pages/resources are stored on your
server
* path to destination folder in the OpenCms virtual file system
* name of the image gallery used as destination when importing image
resources
* name of the external link gallery used as destination when importing links
* name of the download gallery used as destination when importing binary
resources
* name of the template to use for the imported pages
* import mode, either for HTML or XHTML pages
* encoding used in the imported pages
The module imports all resources from the source folder. Static HTML pages
are converted to OpenCms template based pages by stripping the content of
the <body> tag.
Please note: The destinations (the destination folder and the galleries) are
not created during the import. You have to create them before.
Best Regards,
Alex.
