Hi,

you can read connection string from opencms.properties using CmsObject.
getConfigurations(),

but you can store your database server name for example in some your
property file or in web.xml

of your web application (see <context-param> in web-app_2_3.dtd) as well, if
you are developing some Java already.

Best regards

Petr

   Hi group!

 Is there any function in the opencms classes that returns the server the
database is stored on?

Or is there any other possibilty to get the database server name?

Thanks in advance!

Bye Steffen
