[opencms-dev] Customize Workplace ??

Hello,
 
I would like to customize my Opencms by inserting my own resources and so
on.
 
To do so, I need to configure files in the
opencms\WEB-INF\ocsetup\vfs\system\workplace\ directories.
 
But all workplace files are imported in the Mysql database during the
ocsetup.
Can we change the files after the first ocsetup ?? 
It seems it causes some problems to do the setup again ....
 
So how to setup Opencms ?
