[opencms-dev] help! - export fails with "connection timed out: connect"

This one's really got me stumped.

I have a site which works fine offline. I publish it and get no errors
on the status window, although the following appears in the log:

(sitename replaced with XXXX)

I then get the dreaded "[jsptemplate] ???" when I click on the online
version.

The export also takes a massive amount of time - which would explain why
the system is timing out.

Is this something anyone has come across (and fixed!) before?
