[opencms-dev] New to OpenCMS / Trouble with Fat Distribution

Hi folks,

I downloaded and installed the fat distribution of OpenCMS 5.0.1
successfully. Seems to be a nice piece of work. The problem with installing
the tomcat
as NT service was solved by using Google.

Still there is a topic, I still dont get further. To understand the ways how
OpenCMS works, I tried to edit the /index.html. I was not allowed to change
it, though I was logged in with the Admin-account. So i tried to delete the
Version. With the result, that the main-page localhost/opencms/opencms does
not work anymore.
On trying to revert to the original version I still get the error, that I do
not have appropriate rights to revert.

Any idea how I can go back to the original version? I thought, that the
Admin account is allowed to change every resource on the server? Or what is
the
Admin good for? ;-)
Is there any documentation on the rights-concept of OpenCMS? And how to
change a right of a unlocked resource?

Cheers for your help
Carsten
