[opencms-dev] Interesting Behaviour: WYSIWYG editor removes empty anchors

Whitespace character would experience the same unwanted behaviour as any
other text within the anchor; it would become underlined as a link, wouldn't
it (at least when surrounded by text)?
And we'd be dealing with the CSS or other workarounds again.

The way the editor behaves is clearly erroneous and should be dealt with, in
my opinion this whole discussion of trying to live with the limitations of
the editor should infact be replaced by one dealing with the issue of fixing
the problem..

cheers,

Hi,

what about highlighting a whitespace character and then creating an anchor?
That should keep the link, shouldn't it?

Regards Kai
